Why NewCo? / Para qué NewCo?
In a context of accelerating change, uncertainty and ambiguity, NewCo open’s networks and facilitates the sharing of important learnings. NewCo is Barcelona’s city wide open house innovation event with the focus of a business conference and the model of an artist open-studio. NewCo explores the intersection of culture, technology and entrepreneurship. It is an exceptional learning trip across Barcelona, meeting the city’s most inspiring and sharp minds – in their own offices. Founders and CEOs share their vision, corporate culture and innovation strategy in dynamic 1 hour sessions (in Spanish or English). All you need to do is select the sessions you’d like to attend (across Barcelona and Sant Cugat), show up, listen, share and contribute. Get ready for 2 intense days of inspiration, learning, collaboration and networking. NewCo is a mind opening, often transformative journey across Barcelona.
En un contexto de cambios acelerados, gran incertidumbre y ambigüedad, NewCo abre redes y facilita compartir y ampliar conocimientos. NewCo, que ya se organiza en 20 ciudades y 4 continentes, explora la intersección entre Cultura, Tecnología y Emprendimiento. Te permite acceder a la empresas mas innovadoras de Barcelona y de aprender de sus founders y CEOs (concepto ‘open house’ o jornada de puertas abiertas). En dinámicas sesiones de 1 hora descubrirás cuál es la visión, cultura de empresa y estrategia de innovación que les anima a crear futuro. Tenemos el privilegio de estar invitados a espacios de trabajo únicos y conocer de primera mano el ADN de nuestros referentes. Solo tienes que elegir las sesiones que te interesan (por toda Barcelona y Sant Cugat), presentarte, escuchar, compartir y contribuir :). Prepárate para 2 días llenos de inspiración, aprendizaje, colaboración e intenso networking. La gran mayoría de las sesiones son en castellano, algunas se dan en inglés.
How does NewCo work?
Vamos lá! 1) Get your free or paid ticket 2) Sign up to the sessions you’d like to attend on Sched 3) Show up at the company at least 10 minutes before every session, you’ll be on the list.
All sessions have limited capacity and many fill up quickly so check out the program and choose your sessions early!
Make sure you plan the logistics of your day as you have 1 hour between sessions. Walking, biking, scooting, car-sharing, NewCo is a great way for you and your team to get out.
